| | Gaz - The Fruitesse draught mixed fruits beer was the Liefmans Mixed Fruit. We also had the Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime cider (the Swedish one). If you like the mixed fruit, it's also worth trying the Floris Ninkeberry, another mixed fruit beer. I think the Nink is wheat beer based (Belgium Wit) so if you try the Nink next year and like it, give one of the wheat beers a try as well, depending on what we have on the bar. I think you'd have enjoyed the Schneider Weiss this year. Who knows what 2013 will bring? | | Taff 31 January 2012 | Email address hidden |
| | Had a great time on sat afternoon with my lady Lisa and JoJo ...... in the que for 11ish in by 11:45 no problem ........... band fantastic however, who was the giant red head fella who kept bumping into me and spilling my Coconut Lager ...... shocking ;-))) Deffffo going next year ...... | | Glasscollector 30 January 2012 | Email address hidden |
| | Well what a good time was had by all (if you got in!) I did Thursday night (no problem getting in arrived at 7.00pm) Friday arrived at 4-50pm and according to the door counter there where 350 in front of me!! 6 pints and 2 black puds. Saturday afternoon was brilliant as usual with cracked flag, beer and black pudding. Seemed to be a problem with the cuddly toy chucking, seems health and safety at work act 1974 has reached a few of the organisers brain cells. They sent a young security guy into the crowd to remove the toy chuckers. That was the most stupid thing I have seen since my ancestors decided to smash the looms. Anyways nice glass with 23 years on it. I still need a 1991.... | | Gaz 30 January 2012 | Email address hidden |
| | This was my first bents N bongs beers festival and it wont be my last. Had a really good time and drank plenty. Went on the saturday night and joined the large queue at half six and was in by quarter past seven. Not bad considering it wasent meant to start till seven.
On another note does anyone know what the name of a swedish ixed fruits draught beer they were selling? I know it had the word fruitsse in it. Its not on the beers list | | ★_Leah_★ 29 January 2012 | Email address hidden |
| | Had two wicked nights went Thurs n Sat and will be going again next year :-D | | | By contrast with Simon's post below, I too arrived before 18:00 (about 17:49) and was queuing around corner. Got in within 10-15 minutes, despite a hold at the door for 5 minutes while they counted heads. Not too crowded but any more people would've made it unpleasant. Some crackin' beers, some pants, but that's what proper festival is about. GREAT HOT POT! Black pudding's not to my taste, but the portions were huge. I'll be visiting again, that's for sure. Well done to the organisers and volunteers. | | | Very disappointed! Arrived before 6pm on Friday and queued for an hour and a half before giving up. Spent nearly an hour of that time within 1m of the door, yet the Hall was clearly not full. At one point was advised that 50 people were to be let in within about 10 minutes - an hour later, no-one had been let in, yet those with tickets being ushered in. Even more infuriating to see people coming out for their 3rd or 4th cigarette yet you haven't moved in the queue.
Seriously considering not bothering again and giving my support to local drinking establishments instead. | | Glasscollector 27 January 2012 | Email address hidden |

| | We actually brought in the doorman over a year ago. If this is the first time you have noticed them I think it speaks wonders for the excellent job they do. In fact we think they do such a great job that we now ask for them personally when planning out the festival. Our door people are also extremely good when the festival closes. In particular they are great at helping to keep the noise down and prevent any, should we say, indiscretions, around the properties of the local residents. We are very conscious that this is a community event that takes place in a residential area. We'd like it to stay that way, and we hope that all of our guests would too. | | Mr F Hall 27 January 2012 | |
| | I attended last night for the umpteenth time and had a great time as usual but I have to ask why the sudden need for bouncers on the door? Not only that but bouncers with a seriously bad attitude. I have never once seen in all my time attending B&B's and have to say it spoiled a good evening for me. On more than one occasion I saw these idiot doormen in confrontation with guests who were doing nothing more than having a laugh and enjoying good beer. I only attend on the Thursday so cant speak for the other nights but I have never witnessed any trouble that needed doormen intervention. If the place was rife with trouble fair enough but in my opinion a bad move by the organisers. | | Lick My Beer Pump 26 January 2012 | |

| | Two score and three years ago our Round tablers brought forth on this place Atherton a new supping opportunity, conceived in a spirit of glass collection, and dedicated to the proposition that all men drink equal.
Now we are engaged in number 23, tasting whether those round tablers, or any ethnic bent person, so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure the five hours of supping required. We are met in the great formby hall of that Atherton town. We have come by foot and train to dedicate standing up drinking of that hall, as a final resting place for those pints of fermented product that are provided by sponsors herewith. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this, and any loss of memory or damage to underwear is merely a casualty of this yearly sponsored pastime.
We can not hallow this Formby hall. The brave men, living and dead, who boozed here, have consecrated thier underwear and brain cells to the cause. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they drank here and the quantities. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished glasscollecting which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause of supping and glass collection. | | Queue status 25 January 2012 | Email address hidden |

| | RE: Merlin Spellbound
Former hobby brewers David and Sue Peart realised a long held dream to open their own brewery in late 2010. With their ambitious Merlin eight-barrel-brewery in a former grain store at Arclid, they planned to bring some magical brews to Cheshire. The first brew out had to be Spellbound, obviously, a traditional bitter ‘with a twist’. This marries British First Gold hops for bittering and fruity, spicy, orange notes with US Crystal hops for a floral and citrus aroma hop: a smooth drinking golden bitter. This is the Merlin Brewing Company.
Merlin Spellbound has not been brewed in Leigh. There was a Merlin Brewery in Leigh, open from 2004 till 2005. But alas is no more! | | Glasscollector 15 January 2011 | Email address hidden |

| | To Paul Hodson: Your festival in a word "Awesome". My son Dan and I never enjoyed ourselves more than we did on January 28th, the first night of your Bent and Bong Festival. We truly appreciated the English hospitailty extended to us, the two guys from the States. You had some amazing English Ales, hooray for CAMRA. The Beligum Ales you also had can get you in trouble if not properly monitored (smaller quanities), the ABV will "knock your socks off". Cheers for a job....well done. | | I fully understand peoples views on a bigger venue , but i think it would lose its atmosphere big time . Years ago the Formby Hall burnt down . | | had a great time, looking forward to next year. suggest bigger venue. | | | There were police outside when i left on saturday night and a few smashed pots on the floor. there was no blood anywhere so cannot say if this was true or not. looked like someone had accidently dropeed their glass on the way out. there were a few young yobs in there asking for the strongest beer available. a bit later they were falling all over the place. this needs to be curbed if you ask me as it spoils the night for everyone else. Apart from that we had a brill time. | | Liver 04 February 2010 | Email address hidden |

| | After looking forward to the beer bash for a year , and having guests up to visit from as far as Nottingham and Warwickshire to attend, we were very upset at being locked out of the venue due to a "one in one out" policy o Saturday lunch time, when in previous years we haven't had to so much as queue... we never did get in.. Its a shame that the do-gooders and nanny state have lowered the numbers of attendees allowed in have stopped us enjoying the great range of beers and atmosphere. Also I am sure it will have dented the amount of money made for charity this year. | | Paul Hodnett 01 February 2010 | |

TIP:- Put a toilet roll in the fridge for tomorrow. | | | Tonight's experiment will be to suck on a packet of dehydrating crystals in between each pint of Landlord and Nemesis. It's a risky game but we accept these risks. One suck too many and we could dehydrate so quickly that we turn ourselves inside out. One suck too few and we could unbalance the critical Landlord intake velocity. One suck at the point the Glasscollector achieves full suction capacity and we might even implode the windows. | | Fudge Brain 26 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Queue is starting already...I'm off to Atherton Arms. | | Aleguzzzzzzler 26 January 2007 | |
| | Top night, no queues, staight in and on the sesh. Good atmosphere....ONLY one suggestion for the organisers. As this a BEER tasting event, would it no be better to serve 1/4 pints as well ?. That way, I would have been able to sample 80 BEERS !!. BUUUUURPPPP HIC HIC..........
| | Boozy Bill 26 January 2007 | |
| | forget the folk group! Absolutely no place being at that event | | Big Brother 25 January 2007 | |

| | Who's taking liberties? mixed with fermented products its not recomended. I have also heard that people in Atherton are taking E by gum? | | | THe entry price is in line with most other beer festivals throughout the country and the bent and bongs is one of the very few where the profit goes to charity and not camra | | | I've been going to the BBBB since it started and I'm now thinking the entry price for Friday is getting a bit steep.I'm a CAMRA member and get in a bit cheaper but friends have been complaining that, for the past few years, the organisers have been taking liberties. | | Glasscollector 22 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Er this 1991 glass, was it clear with BBBB stamped on it? Er round table name er..is this a trap to finally nail the glasscollector Claris?
Atherton's only serial glasscollector has just the one weakness and you have found it..the 1991 glass...can I risk exposing myself? nineteen nine tee one..my collection would look complete... | | Doctor Porter 22 January 2007
| | Well.... another year and another calling - this year I shall be on hand Friday for evening surgery to assist all those exceeding 5.8 pints per hour. Preferred payment will (as usual) be in beer tokens, or full pints of Landlord. P.S. The last I heard was that the Quaker in question was eating his daily porridge from his 1991 BBBB glass. | | Glasscollector 22 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | I have found a lovely space in my colection for the 2007 glass, its been a long time since last year (about 12 months). My training for this years festival has involved high altitude suction training up rivington pike and I am able to quoff any fermented product now at close to 6 pints an hour. For health and safety reasons I will be restricted on Friday to 5.8. see you there. | | Billy Beertester 19 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | My mate Tommy is going to get in on Friday at 5.pm and save me a place near the Hydes beer. He will save you a place too if you give him a ring. He says it will be alright as he can swing it but no sippers only suppers, and definitly no women | | Ale Kan 19 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Hey Glasscollector, be carefull this year. The forensics done on last years undergarment stains have produced a DNA strand that closely matches a Glasscollector who attened the 1991 festival. We are trying grow a glasscollector "clone" by combining this with frog spawn.
| | Glasscollector 19 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Just been polishing my beerglass collection, what a sight! Estupendo! Jo Jo Queues bad friday, dont bother (tell all the women its not an ironing competion so stay home!) Look the beer is expensive, the queues are huge so leave it all to the glasscollector and his "Crew who dont Queue" Off to rub my tongue with sandpaper in time for next friday! Bye | | | Gadzooks! It seems this year I have my very own beer. Will it be Nemesis and Landlord, or Landlord and Nemesis? Nemesis and Landlord. Landlord and Nemesis. Nemesis and Landlord. Landlord and Nemesis. Muahahaha | | beerhead 17 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Just readthe beer list i am going to have to go now i am drooling over my pc | | | Hi, just wondering how bad the ques are on Friday night? Thinking of going to beer bash around 7pm after work. Last year on Saturday night we ended up walking to the last orders... the ques were never ending! i was suprised they carried on letting people in haha. | | Ale Kan 15 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Not too bad on Thursday's again women love Thursday's as there is no queue. | | Rob 14 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | How busy does the Thursday session tend to be? | | Ale Kan 14 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | £2 a pint varies, plus of course your entry £6 on Friday's. Suggest you go to Atherton Arm's, its only 1.30 a pint, please take all the women with you. | | | What are the prices of beer like? | | Huege Kench 12 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | All this talk of glasses, tongues and fermeted products reminds me of the first festival in 1990. Them were the days, no queues and only then sorts women that look nicer as the night went on.
We used to get there, lick road clean wit tongue and then we would walk home if we were lucky! Luxury! | | Longstander 12 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | I queue therefore I am. Wether it is nobeler to suffer the slings and arrows of outragous fortune, alas poor Nemesis, I knew him well. A boozer of infinite jest. Try quoting shakespear in the queue on Friday, it dosnt get you in any sooner but it expands the mind, until the beer is near. | | Glasscollector 11 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Ah ah my time has agin come to continue my quest for BBash glasses. The serial glasscollector still has not been caught, the incident team are studying last years underpants for clues, and a physcological profile will not lead them to me. Nemesis leave that landlord alone. The time for the long stand outside is nearly here. | | Moaner 11 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | Might queue again this year, last year I thought we was quein for the latest X box, anyways heard there is a seperate que for women and sippers this year. | | Andy E (247partypeople) 07 January 2007 | Email address hidden |
| | laast year 2006 was ace bk again this year definatly on the friday i think | | beerhead 28 December 2006 | |
| | Time to stock pile the hangover cures and headache tablets its only four weeks to the bash better start behaving at home to get plenty of brownie ponts of the wife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | | We wait. Like a coiled spring. We wait. Ready to go poing. To be the first to the Landlord. Ahhhhhhhhh Landlord. Let there be Landlord. | | | I live in Cardiff now and I missed the CAMRA Great Welsh Beer Festival last month, so I'm extra thirsty.... but the Welsh don't quite do it as good as Bent n Bongs. As a Newbrookroadian (or strictly speaking a Woodlandsdriveite), I shall return in January for a good few gallons of taste sensations, starting with Landlord and Old Tom, then whatever else is infront of me; Exmoor gold would be nice. Glasses shall be raised to my Granny - Queen of Atherton who passed away recently. This time I'll try not to get 3 points on my license on the way up! P.S. I'll check my dad's collection for a 1991 glass - was that the year there was an extreme shortage and fisty cuffs broke out? See you at the pumps... | | | Thanks for another fantastic Beer Bash! Me and my mates had a fantastic time again. The staff did an excellent job. Long may it continue......... | | jason lane 25 April 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | me and my mate greg, went to the bash at the top lock pub in wheelton.what a great time it was.it was a shame the quilliam ale wasnt on from the isle of man.but hey ho plenty of other beers were on ,and it war great.i cant remember much after i unsuspectingly picked up a glass of last rites,it all got a little fuzzy after that.if you know or are the guitarist that played on the sat night, drop me a line,a possible band opportunity. well that all i want to write,so heres looking forward to the next one.cheers | | Womenandbeernoway 12 April 2006 | Email address hidden |

| | too many women at the beer fest this year, and not enough room for the regulars. | | Officianado 29 March 2006 | |
| | Look, I know its a diffrunt beer fest but i just saw the spider monkeys at the wigan beer fest and they were flippin fantastic. You could drink beer and talk, but you could also go near the stage and be blown away by the stage sound if you wanted to. wow. i love me beer but i also love my music and they are s$#t hot. | | | What another fantastic event. Can't wait for next year. Keep up the good work. | | Lord Snooty 10 February 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | I say what a splendid evening we had at the fermented products festival, it was a truly spiffing time and all the chaps had a wonderfull time.I also enjoyed the entertainment in the male lavatory, it particularly refreshing to hear the young man do a new zealand "hakka" while projecting his entire stomach contents. Well done old chap. | | Glasscollector 06 February 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | There is no DATE printed on this years glass, is this to allow glasses to be used again next year? Collecting BBBB glasses is all I live for, you have destroyed my sad life!
2006 will be a hard one for the antiques roadshow 2220 to solve, maybe it will be a collectors item, like the elusive 1991? | | Dr Hops 06 February 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | The guy in the end sink on Friday night @ 10-30pm, what perfect demonstration of how to project your personality through a free expression of beer and partly digested solids. Hope it wasn't Landlord! By the way the drains in Atherton are now smelling of moorhouses and running a lot smoother! Did you get your top set back OK? | | | Uuaahhhahhahhhaahhhhahummmmmmmmm
Head still hurts.
Did we beat the Glasscollector to the Landlord in the end? It's all still fuzzy. | | Trevor Heaton 04 February 2006
| | Me and my mate Darren enjoyed the excellent beer bash this year. It was a pity the "Skullsplitter" had sold out by Saturday night, it would have rounded the night off. I noticed the strong "Bin Ladens Downfall" was on sale, at the event two years ago it was my downfall. | | Phil Maiden 03 February 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Thanks for Saturday night. We (Spidermonkeys) really enjoyed playing (I think I can speak for the whole band). The atmosphere was great all night even though the beer started to run out! Great Festival. | | Peter Code 03 February 2006 | |
| | Thank you for a great night of discovery. Locked out so instead met the gentle folk of Atherton for a few more hours than planned. Some fantastic tatoos were observed particularly on the ladies. Eventually got into the Mecca that is Formby Hall and as tradition dictates was taken apart by the unholy offerings. Special thanks to the bearded gentleman I awoke to the next morning. Please call. | | Mark Hignett 02 February 2006 | |
| | I enjoy a tasty beverage but found that after only one hour in Formby Hall on Friday 27th January I became all ill and bandy and had to have a small vomit in my neighbours bushes. Roll on 2007 and I shall endevour to avoid the vindictive skull splitter | | | please could you put pictures from saturday night 2006 on the site | | Roy Keane 02 February 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | I heard that the Bent and bongs has also been taken over by the "prawn sandwich brigade"? I Queued up outside on Friday while all the hoo rays and lad ets were being seen on the inside. Never mind change of strategy for next year and at least its good for the charities. Pity though even charged me the full wack at 9.00pm and many of the beers already sold out. Grumpy Old 19th year vetran. | | Frances & Frank 30 January 2006 | |
| | Great night on Saturday, can't wait till next year, Rock On Spidermonkeys. | | Pete Robinson 29 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Thanks for a fabulous time last Saturday afternoon. Bents 'n' Bongs is always the best festival around. We loved playing for you and, all being well, we'll see you again in'07.
Pete Robinson (Cracked Flag) | | | Enjoyed the early session on Thursday, had some tremendous beers. Don't actually remember the train journey home to Wigan !! :-) Big thanks to Tom K. | | Doctor Porter 28 January 2006
| | Doctor Porter will be on hand Saturday lunchtime 12 noon until 4pm - ie lunchtime surgery as normal, ie. somewhere adjacent to the Timothy Taylors Landlord or Robinsons Old Tom (although the Exmoor Gold is always brilliant!). Who needs a beer transfusion? | | Doctor Porter 27 January 2006 | |
| | To Glasscollector,
The only BBBB glass that I had was a 1991 original - unfortunately I raffled it three weeks ago at the local Tyldsley and District local Quakers Porridge Party - The buggers only paid 16p! | | Glasscollector 27 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | The glasscollectors theory is that drinking beer will make Cranky turn into a woman. To test the theory, tonight he will be fed 6 pints of landlord within a one hour period. It will then be observed that Cranky gains weight, talks excessively without making sense, becomes overly emotional, can't drive, fails to think rationally, argues over nothing, and refuses to apologize when wrong. Thus proving the glasscollectors theory!
Further testing is planned. | | | The Beerbashers brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells in the beerbashers brain first. In this way, regular consumption of beerbash beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.
| | Bongser 27 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | One man. One guitar. One bottle of brandy Jerome appearing Friday night.(I saw him having a coffee and a scone in whittakers in Bolton before Crimbo!) Blues and zimmer frames more like it!! | | Dr Hops 26 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Your body can process one ounce per hour of alcohol, which translates to one beer. Anything more than that it can't handle and goes to your hangover slush fund. So as the BBBB is open 6 hours on Friday anything over 6 pints means hangover. If you plan on supping around 10 pints best put a fresh toilet roll in the fridge before you go out. | | Glasscollector 26 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Beerhead:- Its not to soon to introduce yer man to the real stuff. The local Atherton mums dip the babies dummy in Holts bitter to prevent colic. He will be welcome at the bash, have you thought of a name yet (Hoppy, yeast, landlord or my favorite "hand pump") | | Steve Day 22 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Hi Can I get a ticket for fest this sat | | | My wife gave birth to a baby boy last night do you think it is to soon to take him to the festival next week and introduce him to real ale? | | Glasscollector 19 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Welcome to deepest lancashire, thirsty. There will be many drinkers at the beer fest from USA. (Uther side of Leigh) they will make you feel at home. Get the landlord before Friday night as the glasscollector starts at 7.00 turning beer into water! I am dryer than the steps to the pyramid during a brewery strike. Roll on Friday the 27th! I need a 1991 Glass! | | | It's the finest collection of Beers, Burgers, Beards and Bellies I have ever had the pleasure of stumbling across!. Hope next weekend is equally as good, keep on bevving. | | | Greetings. Two other Yanks and I will be going to the festival as part our annual Real Ale pilgrimage to the UK. Suffice to say that beer is pretty dismal on this side of the pond. I suppose it is too much to ask to save some Landlord for Sat. afternoon, but I'm sure we can find some in Manchester or Liverpool. Cheers. BTW, we will be eating a diet exclusively of saltines and no water to give us a thirst to rival Glassblower. | | Glasscollector 15 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | I am off to madrid for altitude (attitude) training and deep tongue stamina training. I will be back for the beerfest with my thirst honed to perfection and my whistle in need of lubrication. Heads up for full suction by Friday the 27th jan. Taylors Landlord first ask questions later. | | Yorkytorment 11 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Yorkshire Bank? seems a bit of an oxymoron, how the hell do you get your money out? | | | I do protest to the gods of hops and water about the naysayer who dares to use my name in vain. Witchcraft and trickery by the glasscollector no doubt. He fears the Nemesidal drinking powers that will sup the Landlord faster than a fast supping thing. Victory this year is surely ours. Muahahahaha | | | Glasscollecter, I often become drunk from quantities that to you are tie stains. I do not have a 1991 glass, I fear the next bash as your suction power has injured many already! | | Glasscollector 10 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Another year of relentless searching for the elusive 1991 beer bash glass, to make my colllection complete. Only then will world (Atherton) domination be within my grasp, how my tongue yearns for the feel of the 2006 glass as the smell of the landlord creeps up Newbrook Rd, but nothing will compare to the satisfaction of a mint 1991. Hand it over I know you have one! | | Lanky Lad 10 January 2006 | Email address hidden |
| | Rumours of Yorkies approaching, hide the beer bash tickets and invoke standard beer bash security procedures. (Tongue prints, Taste bud tests and physical check for pockets stiched up. Warning the moths from Tykes walletts can bite! | | David Thompson 09 January 2006 | |

Woman interested in marriage, must have a ticket to Bent +Bongs bash, blonde, attractive, six foot tall and have recentlty won the lottery. Please send photocopy of beer bash ticket. | | | I hear the Saharan rains came early this year and have reduced the Glasscollector's thirst to that of a kitten. Victory in the Landlord quaffing is surely ours this year. We will be halfway through the barrel before the Glasscollector has even set foot in the hall. | | | Thats it christmas is over, managed to get through without any serious hangover, but now need to get in training for the main boozing event of the year, but unlike the Glasscollector my training will be done in The Atherton Arms supping copious amounts of Holts Bitter See you Friday Folks. | | Peter Lee 29 December 2005

| | Sorry to offend people they were ok just not my cup of tea. You always have to go with the majority on these matters. Do you reckon that you might have them ones from last year on again or not? Good to put the cat amongst the pigeons on these matters but we all agree the beer was just as good!!!!!!! | | Steve 03 February 2005 | Email address hidden |
| | The feedback we got across the bars on Saturday night was that the band was fantastic. No band is ever going to please everyone so we tend to go with the majority opinion of the feedback we receive. For the Spider Monkeys the feedback has been overwhelmingly good. If circumstances permit we will be having them back again next year. | | chris phillips 03 February 2005 | Email address hidden |
| | You could be right but it is my opinion so live with it son. I appreciate what they did but just wasn't impressed.
I think the majority may have liked it but a fair number didn't it would be good to have a variety on so get off your high horse and leave me with my opinions. At least we agree the beer is good anyway. Keep on sipping | | Phil Maiden 02 February 2005 | Email address hidden |
| | Yes, the Band played middle of the road stuff, but it's what people want to hear at a beer festival. If you want just rock music go to a rock festival. | | chris phillips 02 February 2005 | Email address hidden |
| | Fair comment but musically they were not as good. I dont go for the music firstly its the beer. But after a few drinks you want a good sound to stomp your feet to. sorry to rattle your cage its just my opinion. But that band were still rubbish just played middle of the road music.
get whatever back to rock the joint. Also whatever had a support band who did a few warm up tunes for them. It helped get everyone ready for them, Some friend of stuarts I think. keep on boozin boys and girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | Philip Case 01 February 2005
| | Woah ! Hold on a minute - the band on Saturday were good - they plyed songs for everyone ! I've been going to BBBB for a number of years and it's been a while since that many people were dancing !
